Bridge House
This page provides updates about Bridge Houses's events, trainees, and programs; Ready to Work, Community Table Kitchen, and Basic Needs.
Bridge House offers adults experiencing homelessness a continuum of programming spanning from low barrier basic needs services to robust programs with access to paid work and housing. The goal of all Bridge House’s programs is to meet adults experiencing homelessness where they are and offer them opportunities to transform their lives.

can begin with a first shift. A safe place to sleep. A paycheck earned. Or someone believing change is possible.
Today, Bridge House launches Moving Forward Starts Here—our year-end campaign celebrating the people, work, and community behind every step toward lasting stability.
STARTING TODAY, AN ANONYMOUS DONOR WILL MATCH ELIGIBLE GIFTS DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR. THAT MEANS YOU CAN MAKE TWICE THE IMPACT.
There's important work ahead. And we’ll show you what moving forward looks like through Ready to Work: paid employment, housing, individualized support and milestones earned one step at a time.
The work continues. People move forward. It starts here. And starts now.

A NEW SEASON FOR THE BRIDGE HOUSE GALA ✨
As Bridge House moves into its next phase of growth—and prepares to celebrate 30 years of impact—we’re moving our signature fundraising event from October 7, 2026, to April 2027 at the Boulder JCC.
This intentional shift gives us the opportunity to bring our community together in a new season, celebrate three decades of our work-centered approach and share the momentum building across Bridge House.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you. Look for the new date and event details soon.

Sometimes progress begins with a blank page.
The simple act of putting pencil to paper can create space to slow down, focus, reflect and imagine something new.
For those in recovery or working towards sustainable independence, creating something can be a reminder that change happens the same way: one line, one choice, one step at a time.
And often, you make something pretty incredible happen along the way.

Today is National Workforce Development Day—a day recognizing the partnerships between businesses, nonprofits and community agencies that create sustainable talent pipelines.
At Ready to Work, those partnerships turn opportunity into lasting employment. Together, we help individuals rebuild their lives while connecting employers with motivated, supported and work-ready talent.
Workforce development works when we work together.

Sometimes, a day at the racetrack is more than a day at the racetrack—it’s a chance to have fun, connect, and enjoy a sober afternoon doing something that feels wonderfully normal.
Thank you to our community partner, Ascend Recovery Solutions, for treating Ready to Work trainees to a day at Colorado National Speedway! 🏁

This Labor Day, we’re grateful for the work—and for the partners who make it possible.
Every contract awarded to Ready to Work creates more than a job. It provides meaningful employment, earned income, renewed confidence and a path toward stability for adults rebuilding their lives.
To the cities, counties, businesses, and community partners who hire our outdoor work crews: thank you. None of this happens without the work.

Giving takes many forms: offering time, sharing resources, opening doors and believing in someone’s ability to move forward.
On World Charity Day, we celebrate the many ways our community stands alongside adults working to leave homelessness behind. Through the Colorado Homeless Contribution Tax Credit, eligible donations to Bridge House may also qualify for a 25% state tax credit—making each act of generosity go even further.
Together, we create opportunity. Together, we strengthen our community.
