Today, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the City of Boulder and Boulder County’s lawsuit against ExxonMobil and Suncor Energy. The lawsuit seeks to hold the oil companies responsible under state law for harms to Boulder resulting from the companies knowingly contributing to climate change while concealing the dangers of their products. The plaintiffs argued that the case should be allowed to move forward, and that the Court should reject Exxon's argument that the company is immune from Boulder's lawsuit. www.boco.org/Boulder-at-SCOTUS

Do you have family and friends who live in other states? Many states have registration deadlines happening in the next few days. So NOW is time to ask them if they are registered to vote. If they are, you can also encourage them to check their registration to make sure they are all set to vote in the 2026 General Election.
It's always a great idea to check your own registration and encourage friends and family here in Colorado to check theirs, too. The good news is Colorado doesn't have a registration deadline, so folks can register and vote until Vote Centers close at 7 p.m. on Election Day (Tuesday, Nov. 3).
Find an out-of-state registration deadline:
