These three cuties need committed fosters starting this Saturday for them to make their freedom ride to CO!

Sadie, her 7 siblings, and her Momma were found living in a drainage ditch in Texas when the pups were just a few weeks old. A woman fed them for a couple days until she was able to find a rescue to take them in. The rescue in nursed the pups and Momma back to health for days. It took a little while for Momma to realize they were finally safe. Momma and babies were transferred here when they were old enough to do so safety. They have now been vetted, fixed, and well socialized. They are ready to find forever, loving families of their own!

Momma Dottie is about 12lbs, and we don't know who dad was. We are guessing the pups will be about 20-30lbs when full grown. They are all incredibly sweet, loving, playful, and just absolutely perfect.

Sari is a 4MO little Dachshund/Chi mix weighing about 6lbs. Their breed is a guess as we can't be certain. We are guessing Sari will be about 10-15lbs when full grown. Sari and her 3 siblings, along with his Momma, were part of a hoarding case in Texas. There were over 40 dogs in the home and the small local shelter needed help finding places for the dogs to go. We were able to help this sweet Momma and her 3 puppies. They have now been in Colorado for a few weeks and are ready to find their very own forever families.

Sari is a little shy at first, but oh so sweet. She warms up quickly and wants nothing more than to be loved. She gets along great with other dogs big and small, and all humans. Her socialization is coming along great and gets gaining confidence every day. She would do great in a home with another dog, or with someone who has lots of time to raise a puppy. She will be the perfect size for daily walks/hikes/adventures, AND to be the perfect little lap-dog/snuggle buddy.

Woody is a 2-3 year old Chiweenie mix (we are guessing). Woody came from a hoarding case in Texas where there were 40+ dogs. Woody and all his siblings have made their way to CO, been fully vetted, and are ready to find their very own families.

Woody's foster momma said he is such a character with a big/goofy personality. He LOVES other dogs and is always seen pracing around the house with them He gets along well with other dogs big and small, cats, kids, you name it. He loves to follow his foster Momma around to house with his other doggo siblings, but is also totally fine napping in his bed. He would do well in a home with another dog and we would love to see him go to a home with another 4-legged buddy. Woody and all the other dogs from this hoarding case do take a little bit of time to warm up to new humans, so his family will have to be a little patient and give him a few days to come out of his shell and really blossom, but once he does, he's will bring constant smiles and laughs to his humans. He is also doing great with leash training and making strides on potty training.

Rex is a 2-3 year old Chiweenie mix (we are guessing). Rex came from a hoarding case in Texas where there were 40+ dogs. Rex and all his siblings have made their way to CO, been fully vetted, and are ready to find their very own families.

Rex's foster Momma says that if she could have another dog she would keep little Rex in a heartbeat. Rex is the most loving little dog. He gets along well with other dogs big and small, cats, kids, you name it. He loves to follow his foster Momma around to house and is always curious what shes up to. He would do well in a home with another dog, but it's not 100% necessary as long as he is very loved and gets all the snuggles in the world. Rex and all the other dogs from this hoarding case do take a little bit of time to warm up to new humans, so his family will have to be a little patient and give him a few days to come out of his shell and really blossom, but once he does, he's just perfect. He is also doing great with leash and potty training.

What is there to say about Marti? So much! This sweet little lady is still a puppy herself. She came into rescue as a young mama with three puppies, all of them had come from a hoarding case in Texas. Now that she’s finished raising her babies, it’s finally her turn to be spoiled and loved in a forever home.

Marti is playful, affectionate, and happiest when she’s with her people or her dog friends. She loves playing with the other small dogs in her foster home and is just as happy curling up for cuddles with her foster mom and foster sister after playtime. She’s already potty trained, crate trained, and is learning what it means to simply be a carefree dog. Marti can be a little timid around new people and will need a patient family willing to give her time to settle in and build confidence. Once she feels safe, she blossoms into the sweetest little angel. While she hasn’t been introduced to children yet, her foster believes she could do well with respectful older children after a slow, thoughtful introduction. If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion who deserves a second chance at simply being someone’s beloved best friend, Marti is ready to fill your home—and your heart—with joy.

Maisy is a 2-3 year old Chihahua/Dachshund mix (we think?) who came from a hoarding case in Texas with almost 20 other dogs. There were over 40 in the home, but our rescue was able to bring just over 20 to Colorado. Maisy has been in Colorado over a month now, is fully vetted, and ready to find her perfect forever family!

Don’t let Maisy’s sweet, worried little face fool you—this adorable girl is full of love, energy, and personality! She loves playing with toys, is a fantastic cuddle buddy, and is sure to make a wonderful addition to a lucky family. Maisy can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly once she feels comfortable. She’s crate trained, potty trained, and is doing a great job learning to walk on a leash. She absolutely loves playing with other small dogs and would enjoy having a small canine companion in her forever home, though she’ll also be perfectly happy as your one and only. While she hasn’t been tested with larger dogs or children, her foster believes her playful, gentle nature will help her adapt well with proper introductions. If you’re looking for a cuddly, playful little nugget who will happily snuggle up after a day of fun, Maisy is ready to steal your heart. Give this sweet girl a chance—you won’t regret it!
