Open Light Energy

I completely forgot Boulderthon was happening today and came into the shop expecting a nice, slow Sunday… 😂

SURPRISE! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️✨ Boulder is out and about today! With the Boulderthon marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K happening and runners finishing right here in downtown Boulder, there’s a whole lot more energy in town than I expected.

So if you’re already out enjoying Boulder today, come say hi at Open Light Energy! ✨ Stop in for a tarot reading, browse the crystals, gifts and all the beautiful things in the shop, or just come soak up the energy for a few minutes.

I’ll be here until 1:00 PM today, so come see me before I sneak out early! 💜

Open Light Energy is getting fresh & clean for the weekend! ✨🧹🪟

We’re cleaning the windows, refreshing the energy, and getting ready for a beautiful weekend at the shop.

🔮 Saturday at 2 PM: Scarlett from Willow Larks will be joining us for Tarot readings!

🍂 Tuesday, September 23 | 6:30–8:30 PM: Join us for The Art & Practice of Altar Creation, where we’ll explore creating an intentional altar and harness the creative, balancing energy of the Autumn Equinox.

Come wander in, see what’s new, get a reading, or just soak up the freshly cleaned energy. ✨

The store said “let’s rearrange everything again”. I said “let’s go”. 😂

And the September chalkboard is FINALLY done. Better late than never, right? 🍂✨

Things are shifting, shelves are moving, and Open Light Energy is getting a little September refresh. Come see what is new and what moved this time. 😉

Open Light Energy is sending a HUGE thank you to David Trahan Living Altar who shared his beautiful energy and skill on Wednesday evening with community as we gathered for The Art & Practice of Altar Creation.

With the upcoming lunar eclipse as our backdrop, we reflected on the endings, beginnings, transformations and releases that have been surfacing during eclipse season, then brought those intentions into the creation of our own personal altars. 🌙

It was beautiful to see how unique each altar became. Sacred space is deeply personal and there is no one “right” way to create it.

🍂 Our next Altar Creation Workshop is Wednesday, September 23 from 6:30–8:30 PM, as we welcome the Fall Equinox and the seasonal turning toward Samhain.

Space is intentionally limited to 5 participants, so please reserve your spot early.

✨ Donation-based
✨ No one turned away for lack of funds

We’d love to have you join us. 🫶🏼

✨Another wonderful afternoon at Open Light Energy! ✨

We had a great time at our Hand Reading Analysis Workshop with Cheryl Walker yesterday. I loved seeing everyone gathered together, learning about the stories our hands can tell and getting the chance to explore their own unique markings. Thank you to Cheryl and everyone who joined us! 💜

And there’s more coming up! Keep an eye out for the different workshops, classes, and gatherings happening at Open Light Energy.

We have a Reiki 1 class coming up September 13 and registration is now full, but keep an eye open for another class starting in November. If you’re interested in getting on the waiting list send over a message!

And I’m SUPER excited for The Art & Practice of Altar Creation with David Trahan. A series of workshops that is holding at Open Light Energy for those that are interested in learning and practicing altar creation for specific purposes. Come to one or come to all!

WE START THIS WEDNESDAY! JOIN US FROM 6:30–8:30 PM

Workshop 1: Lunar Eclipse + Full Moon

Together we’ll explore the meaning and practice of creating sacred space and craft a seasonal altar aligned with the upcoming Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse.

We intentionally scheduled this workshop before the eclipse so you’ll have time to take the ideas, intentions, and skills you gather in class and create an altar of your own as we move toward this powerful lunar event.

Only a couple spaces left! Send over a DM or email: [email protected] to get your spot. Come learn, create, connect, and leave with something you can continue making your own. ✨

This the first workshop in a series of three.

Workshop 2: Fall Equinox + Harvest Moon Sunday 9/20: 6:30 - 8pm

Workshop 3: Ancestors
Wednesday 10/28: 6:30 -8pm

All are donation base, including free, no one turned away for lack of funds.

✨ LITHIUM QUARTZ ✨

Check out this beautiful and relatively rare variety of quartz, Lithium Quartz! Known for its soft pink to lavender coloring, often attributed to inclusions of lithium-bearing minerals within the quartz. That delicate coloring is part of what gives each piece its unique appearance. 💗

Metaphysically, Lithium Quartz is treasured for its gentle, peaceful energy and is associated with:

✨ Inner peace & emotional healing
✨ Harmonizing relationships
✨ Releasing stress and emotional heaviness
✨ Aligning with your Higher Self
✨ Encouraging calm, harmony & joy
✨ Supporting meditation and spiritual connection

Lithium Quartz is a beautiful stone to work with when life feels a little wacky and you’re looking to come back to yourself with softness. Wonderful in assisting with recentering and reconnecting with what feels aligned.

Come see Lithium Quartz in person at Open Light Energy! We’re a locally owned metaphysical shop in downtown Boulder, just a couple of blocks from Pearl Street. Come explore our crystals, jewelry, tarot and oracle decks, spiritual tools, gifts and all the other little treasures throughout the shop. Or pop in for a donation based energy tarot reading💗

✨ The chalkboard has officially been updated for August! (Only a week into the month… I’d call that perfect timing. 😉)

Tomorrow brings the Lion’s Gate Portal (8/8) A beautiful opportunity to pause, set intentions, and reconnect with what you’re ready to call into your life. This is a powerful energetic gateway and a meaningful reminder to get clear on your vision, it’s a wonderful time to dream a little bigger.

And later this month…

🖐️ Hand Analysis Workshop with one of Boulders finest hand jabs readers! Cheryl Walker.
