Opus Hut, 11,600ft. Silverton, CO
Beautiful hut surrounded by towering peaks and breathtaking terrain. By far the nicest hut I’ve experienced in Colorado. Modeled from the European hut experience, Opus offers a full service kitchen and bar. Surrounded by incredible skiing that beckons you to leave the comfort of the hut and venture out into the backcountry. Complex terrain and the awareness of avalanche deaths in recent years are a constant reminder to move through these mountains with intention and caution. A world class experience in every regard.

Recent stills work with our regional utility provider, Xcel Energy ⚡️
I spent a good chunk of Q4 in 2025 romping around the state on various projects with the company and had a blast doing it. Small teams, natural light (mostly), real people. It’s work like this that I cut my teeth on in the industry and I find myself enjoying just as much as the more produced shoots.

After a recent job in Washington state, I took a few days off to sneak out and explore the Northern Cascades and British Columbia, a region that arguable has some of the most beautiful and unique alpine environments in North America. Always looking forward to spending more time in these ancient forests.

Last month I had the opportunity to collaborate with Matt Jones and Vitus Bikes on the launch of their new Mythique trail bike redesign. We had a blast romping around the desert for a few days and Matt absolutely crushed it as DP/Editor. Watch the release video to see the vision and hard work everyone injected into this project.
Continually honored and surprised I get to do this kind of stuff for a living.
The All-New Vitus Mythique I VITUS The all-new Vitus Mythique is an uncompromising evolution of our award-winning aluminum trail bike redesigned to shred harder and tackle more. It's the ideal...

A fun little doodle created with Adobe Fresco and composited with a recent image taken while on assignment for Charge E-Bikes and Eddie Bauer.
I love playing around with live brushes and using the existing pixels and colors to manipulate the textures within the scene. More to come soon!

“My forehead pushed into the airplane window as the clouds parted and we descended over Seattle. If you live in the arid American West, you never forget the first time you fly into the Pacific Northwest. It’s a region and ecosystem teeming with life that leaves a lasting impression on you. Our journey would take us far outside metro Seattle, to a place with no stop lights, only accessible by boat or plane.”
Check out the full behind the scenes blog for where I write about the local history and ecology, and the hardships of shooting a video production on Orcas Island during rainy season. Link in bio.

"What's within us, is far stronger than what's in our way."
Last Autumn, Melissa Simpson decided she would no longer just look at the mountains from her bedroom window.
I don't have words to describe how much we all gained from spending time with Melissa during the expedition and I'm beyond proud to be a part of the camera crew that helped tell her story. Premiered today on Vimeo as a staff pick. Link below for full film. When you have a few minutes to spare, its most certainly worth a watch.
