Robert told me on the phone his goal was to learn techniques for catching browns. This evening we set out and went over a few methods. The one that did the job was the DD signature series 110+1 jr green machine. A beautiful 21” female brown. This fish was caught below fall creek on the bluff.

A tough bite today in the trophy area today but we managed a good one out of the few fish we landed. Bill caught this this 20” rainbow fishing a 1/80 yellow mega worm above the narrows! Slip bobber rig prevailed on tonight’s trip. We landed this 21” trophy rainbow below the boat ramp at the dam before it got dark! This fish was caught on a size 10 tan scud! We missed a lot of fish this afternoon but Paul didn’t miss the hook set on this beautiful male rainbow. This one came in at 21.75”. Tim brought Blain and his dad Ivan for some evening Taneycomo action! Today Doug and I set out for a fantastic September morning of trout fishing! It was a hot one this afternoon. Meaning the sun and the bite! Steve booked a birthday trip for his son Patrick and him! Patrick showed up and caught the most fish but dad stole the birthday fish coming in at 21.5”. We caught are fish today on # 12 and 14 U.V.
