Nonprofit parrot rescue and sanctuary based in southeast Michigan 501(c)(3) I'm Mandy, a homestead and pet caretaker based in southeast Michigan.
I provide a unique level of expertise and peace of mind to all sorts of animal owners. Whether you have a single goldfish or a whole herd of sheep, you can count on me to look after your furbabies. No job is too big or small -- homesteaders, hobby farmers, and exotic pet owners deserve a vacation, too!

We’ve been a little quiet this summer. That’s because we’ve been up to something special! Starting September 25th, we are taking reservations at the Mulberry Acres Farmhouse 👏👏👏 Located on our parrot sanctuary property in Brighton, Michigan, guests can enjoy the peace and quiet of our 7-acre farm, large bedrooms, modern kitchen and bathrooms, speedy internet, quick access to shopping and highways, plenty of parking, fenced in yard, and pet-friendly accommodation. We will also offer visits to see our birds, if interested! No obligation to see the feathered friends, but we highly recommend it. 😁 Proceeds go toward funding the rescue and rehabilitation of parrots in need, so we look forward to seeing you here and staying booked all year long!
I didn’t do it right 🤷🏻♀️
