For nearly forty years, Dan Ripke has traveled Michigan performing the songs, stories, and traditions that helped shape American roots music.
The Americana Revue brings together folk, bluegrass, country blues, old-time music, early country, fiddle tunes, and original songs in a lively program filled with music, history, and humor.
This isn't just a concert.
It's a musical journey through America's roots, connecting the songs we know with the people, places, stories, and traditions behind them. It is an entertaining and engaging program that works equally well for concert series, libraries, community events, senior audiences, and arts organizations.
