After a journey that spanned more than a decade, St. Michael-Albertville's Chas Betts claimed the ultimate title of his historic career as the WWE Intercontinental Champion.

Before defeating Penta at SummerSlam 2026, Betts won a high school title at 160 pounds in 2004 and represented the United States in Greco-Roman wrestling at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
