The Matzo Project introduces carefully made, artfully packaged, legitimately scrumptious matzo to a stale, outdated, dusty corner of the marketplace.

We set out to make an alternative to a culturally loved, but traditionally flavorless cracker and instead, we got a super-snappy, extra-flavorful, crazy-versatile snack that goes with every single thing we've tried to put on it. (We are not making this up.) While it currently languishes in the 'Ethnic Food' Aisle, our hope is to help matzo claim its rightful spot in the Cracker Aisle; nestled between the Saltines and the Pita Chips.

We all left the retreat with a lot to do. Avi left well rested.

WE’RE IN TARGET!!!! 🎯 Seven of our products. On actual shelves. Where you can buy them and everything.

We went to five NYC stores yesterday to see for ourselves. There we were. All five times. Everyone else just kept shopping.

We’ve put years of work into making matzo something people seek out — not settle for. Seeing it on these shelves? We’re pretty damn proud.

Find us in the kosher section at select stores. And there’s MORE Target-y news coming soon. We’d tell you now, but we’re already a lot to deal with today.

Hello Canadian Health Food Association (CHFA) East! We brought the Matzo Chips. You bring your appetite and… erm… maybe some shelf space 🛒

Come try a chip, meet the team, and see what else we’ve been making. We’re at booth #709 in the Gourmet Trading pavilion.

Yes, you can have another sample.

WHICH ONE? 👀

We call this our Matzo Chip flight (yup even though it’s fish).
OK, JUST CHOOSE ALREADY.

🇫🇷 FROMAGE FORT. A fancy French way to clean out your cheese drawer.

Ashley turned leftover cheese into a ridiculously good spread. Here’s how:

🧀 Cube 1 lb of leftover cheese, removing rinds and questionable bits. Soak in ⅓ cup white w**e to soften while you prep everything else.

🌿 Blend 4 tbsp softened salted butter, 2–3 garlic cloves, salt, pepper and a handful of fresh herbs (Ashley used parsley and chives).

Add cheese and w**e. Blend until creamy. Season to taste, add a squeeze of lemon if you like, and refrigerate.

Serve with our Salted Matzo Chips. Or eat it straight from the spoon.

Bonjour, matzo.
