Wowza… Mother Nature has really been showing off this summer! 🌩️☀️🌧️
We’ve had hail, a heat wave, flooding… it can balance out any day now, right? 🤞 Especially since our Annual Hoedown at the Ranch is happening this Saturday, August 8!
Our latest weather adventure came on Saturday, August 1, when we got an unbelievable amount of rain in such a short time. 😳 We’ve seen plenty of floods here at the ranch over the years, but never has water made its way inside the barn… until now!
Thankfully, the water has gone down, the cleanup is well underway, and we’ll be ready to welcome everyone for a fun-filled Hoedown this Saturday. If this summer has taught us anything, it’s that you can’t predict Indiana weather—but you can count on us to make the best of it!
Who’s ready for some sunshine, good food, great music, and a little old-fashioned ranch fun? 🤠🌞

This is 4 yr old Eliana. She worked all summer on chores and earning enough stickers to get a trail ride here at the ranch!!
Yes, the road is closed while they replace the bridge… and we know it’s a huge inconvenience for everyone traveling to the ranch. 😩
BUT… every cloud has a silver lining! Thanks to the road project, we scored a beautiful new driveway made from the road grindings—for FREE! 🙌
So while the detour may be a little annoying, we’re pretty excited about the upgrade. We promise the ranch is still worth the trip, and now you’ll have an even nicer driveway to roll into! 🚜✨
