We just graduated our newest class of peacemakers! It was another great class. Special mention is "Norie" who receives the distinguished honor of being the most "paws-itive" member of the class- nothing de-escalates a dispute faster than a fluffy face.
We also took some fun time to celebrate our Case Manager, Whitney's 50th birthday ( twice 25 or 1/2 a hundred).
Congratulations to all today- we now have our newest mediators and moral support puppies ready to help you settle things the friendly way!
Are you ready to become an expert problem-solver, upgrade your professional toolkit and make a meaningful impact in your community?
There are still a few spots available in our Basic Mediation Training Class coming up on August 25-27.
To register for the class or for more information, please go to our website, www.brazosdrc.org or call us at 979-822-6947.

Sticky situations? We have the remedy.
One of our sweet mediators, Noelle, just buzzed in with some homemade Buddy Honey for the team! At the Dispute Resolution Center, we believe the best way to settle disputes is with a little extra sweetness (and zero stingers).
Thanks for the liquid gold!

They sacrificed for a united nation, not a divided one. This Memorial Day, let's remember that unity requires effort, empathy and open minds.
The Brazos Valley Dispute Resolution Center offers mediation to help our community heal and connect. Let's choose understanding in memory of those we lost.

Thank you to the inspiring speakers, Eva Guzman, a former Texas Supreme Court justice and James Stafford, a Houston criminal defense attorney at Atticus Finch Day today.
Today’s theme centered around the ability to disagree, debate ideas honestly, and still treat one another with respect and civility. In a divided time, this is exactly what we strive to promote every day through mediation and peaceful conflict resolution. Atticus Finch Day

Whew! It’s been so busy at the DRC that we had to call in for backup! These canine peacemakers, Stella and Rosie, remain at the ready to de-escalate with tail wags, cuddles and kisses. Thank you Aggieland Pets With a Purpose for bringing them in today!
