Not every moment is the same. Celebrate the small triumphs. 🌅Read Caption 🌅

Watching the sunset amidst the grandeur of the Sahara Desert, you might imagine being greeted by a harsh, relentless sun and an unforgiving expanse of sand. However, this day was different. This evening graced me with blazing shades streaking across the sky, the coolness of the night lingering just a tad longer, despite the promise of the scorching morning ahead. On this day, I celebrated an unusual victory – waking up feeling fabulous despite the constant battle with auto immune issues. With autoimmune conditions, days can often be unpredictable; they can bring about fatigue, pain, or discomfort without warning. Yet, there’s something about this day that felt triumphant. Was it the clear desert air? The serene silence, punctuated only by the whisper of the breeze? Or just my own body, choosing this day of all days to gift me a respite? Whatever it was. I received and sat in gratitude for the little triumphs the desert gifted. In the quiet splendor of the Sahara, I was reminded that my spirit is as boundless as the desert sky, and my capacity for joy as vast as the sea of sand that stretched before me. In that moment, I was once again a warrior basking in peace, and I will carry this feeling with me, like a talisman, through harder days. I encourage everyone grappling with health challenges to find their ‘Sahara’ – that place, moment, or feeling where you can celebrate the victories, big or small. Morocco: Where the only thing on the rocks were the landscapes, and every hour was happy hour with 0% chance of hangovers because I’ve taken an alcohol break. Yup….loving the clarity and unfiltered view.

The mountains in Morocco are so beautiful, and being alcohol-free has given me a new appreciation for their serenity and breathtaking views through an unfiltered lens. Absolutely loved the new sense of clarity and adventure. There is no comparison in experiencing the unfiltered beauty of Morocco, one sober adventure at a time. To think, not too long ago I probably wouldn’t have gone on a “dry” vacation. Gotta keep an open mind and keep trying new things. You might be pleasantly surprised! So let me ask you…. have you experienced a sober vacation? 📍Tansifte Region The Atlas Mountains and surrounding highland regions present a profound contrast to the Tansifte plains, where rugged landscapes and a cooler climate offer refuge from the heat and a chance to dive into the indigenous culture and outdoor adventures. While there, take time to trek, eat with a Berber family or take an authentic cooking class. Let me know and I will help you coordinate 💕 🥾🌎🥾🌎🥾🌎🥾🌎🥾🌎🥾🌎🥾🌎 Buffalo, NY | 716 | Empty Nester | Unlocking the Midlife Magic | Starting Over | Traveling Deeper | Midlife Adventure | Inspiration | Semi Retirement Living | New Chapter | Menopause Autoimmune Warrior 🌏Follow for more inspiration and places to visit. 🌎DM to live a life traveled deeper

There’s a difference between luck and good fortune, ……and it’s the grinding that happens behind closed doors.

Contrary to popular belief, I wasn’t born with a silver spoon, didn’t step in $h📍t or marry rich. Don’t get me wrong…. I would’ve gladly accepted any of those options. Ha!

I was raised in East New York one of the poorest and most crime ridden neighborhoods in Brooklyn, NY to incredible parents who instilled in me the grit to work hard, commit and make something out of nothing, and that’s what I’ve done my entire life.

What I love most about this business is that anyone can do it. It’s an equal opportunity business focused on recognizing your personal efforts.
If you put in the work, the good fortune comes. It’s as simple as that.

Now, tell me. Has anyone ever confused your good fortune with luck?

Getting some Chicago Blues…

Chicago is The Spot Where Urban Inspiration Meets Midwest Charm! Definitely one of my fav US cities because it’s clean, has great transportation and: 1️⃣Chicago offers endless opportunities to immerse oneself in creativity and artistic expression through its thriving arts and culture scene. It has world-class museums like the Art Institute of Chicago & renowned theater companies like the Steppenwolf Theatre and amazing jazz and blues clubs. 2️⃣Chicago’s skyline is iconic, with stunning architectural landmarks like the Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower), the John Hancock Center, and the Cloud Gate sculpture in Millennium Park. 3️⃣Chicago is a foodie’s paradise. It’s culinary scene goes beyond the deep dish pizza and other fast food classics classics, with a diverse array of restaurants offering cuisines from all around the world with Patio & Roof Top bars all over the City. @iogodfrey 4️⃣It has a Beach on a freaking lake in the middle of one of the cleanest financial cities in the US! It has prime location along Lake Michigan, with stunning views, lakefront parks, beaches for outdoor recreation and relaxation. 5️⃣Despite being a major urban center, Chicago has an abundance of green spaces. From the expansive Grant Park to the beautiful Lincoln Park, the city offers parks and gardens where residents and visitors can relax, picnic, and enjoy nature. Chicago is also home to the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, Chicago Bulls & Chicago Blackhawks so there’s always something to do. What’s your favorite thing to do in Chicago? Just because I’m a brunette again and my aunt is so stinking cute!

This is 82! Wow just wow 💕

Success isn’t linear. Sometimes we take several steps backwards before we can propel forward.

It may feel like we are moving in the wrong direction and that we are going backwards in life. In reality, we are dancing the Cha Cha of life. As we take steps back and step outside of the box, we gain knowledge, experience and the force needed to propel us forward like an arrow towards a target.

Dance the dance. Dance with intention and purpose. Those moves will get you to your destination my friends.

Go ahead. Let Me Help You Travel Deeper.
