Azar Design Co

Congratulations, Elizabeth Decker! 📐✏️

After putting in the work to reach this milestone, Elizabeth is now a Registered Architect in New York State. We’re looking forward to seeing where her career takes her next!

Today is World Architecture Day, and this year’s theme chosen by UIA - International Union of Architects, 𝐻𝑜𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑠 𝑎 𝐻𝑢𝑚𝑎𝑛 𝑅𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡. 𝐵𝑢𝑖𝑙𝑑 𝐼𝑡., is a reminder that smart design can impact access to the places people want to call home.

Our architecture and engineering teams have worked to rehabilitate public housing in communities throughout Western NY and New York City, improving building amenities, site conditions, code compliance, and interiors across hundreds of units.

We’re also proud to support organizations like Habitat for Humanity and PUSH Buffalo, which works to expand affordable housing and strengthen our neighborhoods.

Bringing impact to housing isn’t always about building new. Sometimes, it’s about making improvements that bring efficiency, sustainability, and accessibility to the places people already call home.

Azar's Gregory Carballada and Lorena Rodriguez De La Garza are ready for an engaging few days next week for the 2026 APTA TRANSform Expo in Chicago, where the industry's most passionate people come together to explore the new cutting edge technologies and ideas that will shape the future of public transportation. If you're attending, we hope to connect!!

Our Azar Design Co NYC team enjoyed a wonderful summer gathering at 230 Fifth: Best Heated Rooftop Bar/Club/Restaurant In NYC! 🌆✨

It was an unforgettable evening filled with great company, meaningful conversations, and beautiful views of the NYC skyline.

Moments like these are a wonderful reminder of how important it is to connect outside of the office, strengthen our camaraderie, and continue building a strong and positive company culture.

A special thank you to our President & CEO, Gregory Carballada, for his continued leadership, support, and commitment to our team.

And to our friends and colleagues across the industry who joined us and shared the evening with our team—thank you for making it even more special! We truly enjoyed having you with us.

Here’s to great teams, great partnerships, and many more moments together! 🥂

This past weekend, part of our Philly team brought their energy and support to the runway! ✈️🏃 Azar Design Co was a proud sponsor of the PHL 5K Run/Walk at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).

Not your average 5K, this airfield race brought the community together under the backdrop of aviation aircraft landing and taking off, with educational exhibits and fun activities for local families. Best of all, proceeds benefit a few amazing local/chapter organizations including March of Dimes, Eastwick Friends & Neighbors Coalition (EFNC) and Eastwick United CDC (EU).

We’re excited to have Lorena Rodriguez De La Garza and Andrea Marzolf, LEED AP, attending the Philly Builds+ 5th Annual Symposium for Life Science Innovation and Development!

Philly Builds Bio+ is a growing non-profit organization with a mission that works to bring education and visibility of commercial life sciences opportunities to major geographic science clusters. Philadelphia just broke into the world’s top 10 startup cities and climbed to ***No.5*** in national biotech cluster rankings.

Azar Design Co has been a successful collaborator in building the Science + Technology space, and our team is ready to discuss and learn more about the vital forces moving the industry forward in Philadelphia!!
