What an incredible opportunity to partner today and to learn about the amazing work Rawtools Buffalo is doing! Thank you for serving us today, bringing restoration and hope!

Tonight, the rooms were filled. ❤️

Almost 80 men, more than 25 high school volunteers from Young Life, and our faithful volunteers all came together under one roof, and what a night it was.

There was food being prepared and served, hair being cut, laundry being offered, BINGO being called, guests being visited, building maintenance and electrical work happening in our new dental clinic.

But more than the tasks, there was fun.
Laughter. Connection. Service. Worship.

There were young people learning what it means to serve their neighbors. Volunteers giving their time and talents. Guests being seen, heard, welcomed, and reminded that they matter.

This is what community looks like.

This is what happens when people show up for one another.

And tonight, so many people showed up. 💙❤️

Grateful for every volunteer, every student, every staff member, and every guest who made tonight so special.

There is so much good happening here. And we are just getting started. 🙏

Today we celebrate the people who show up, serve, give, and believe that every person matters.

At Amy’s Place of Hope, we get to witness every day what happens when a community comes together with compassion and purpose.

Thank you to every volunteer, donor, partner, and friend who helps us build hope and create opportunity. We couldn’t do it without you! ❤️

George and Brutus are wondering if you might be able to come do laundry tomorrow and hand out donor clothes for men taking showers and needing clean clothes? 🐾

Did you know that Monday is our biggest laundry night, with close to 60 loads being done for our guests?!

We miss our guests after parting ways on Thursday morning and are eager to serve them come Monday evenings!

We have been SO busy this week!

Thank you to Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences’ students for serving alongside us for your 2026 Day of Service!

38 guests, volunteers, and staff completed Narcan training, equipping our community with life-saving knowledge and practical skills.

10 men participated in our second class in partnership with 716 Ministries, focused on vocational and career planning. Together, they’re learning how to break big vocational, career, and personal goals into achievable action steps with realistic timelines for success.

90 volunteers gave their time, talents, and hearts to serve alongside us.

AND

We hit a record of 83 overnight guests on Wednesday!

We’re incredibly grateful for every volunteer, partner, donor, and supporter who makes this work possible. Together, we’re not simply meeting immediate needs, we’re helping build pathways toward hope, healing, and a brighter future.
