The Funky Clucker

🍿🥽 Imagine watching a dinosaur movie INSIDE the dinosaur movie. Datamining of the latest Quest software hints Meta's building a virtual cinema environment for Quest headsets — movie night, but you're sitting in the middle of the screen.

As a guy who sells retro games for a living, all I can think is: somebody's gonna list "Quest 3, like new, used once for movie night" and I'm going to be SO tempted. 😅

Deal alert while you're here: a certified refurbished Quest 3 (512GB) just dropped to $440 on eBay with a promo code through Oct 11. That's a steal if you've been waiting. 👀

🐔📱 Big news for small business owners (and your friendly neighborhood Clucker): Meta's Muse AI agent — the one that's been sitting at #1 in the App Store for weeks — just launched on iPad, and Meta's opening it up to developers building AI-powered gadgets.

We run The Funky Clucker off phones, laptops, and pure caffeine, so anything that helps a one-person shop get more done between listing photos is good news in our book. 📦✨

Question for you: would you trust an AI to help price your next game lot? Asking for a friend. 👀

🎬🐔 Xbox just leveled up beyond the living room... Xbox announced XP, a whole new division turning their biggest game franchises into MOVIES, TV shows, merch, and live experiences. That's right — your favorite games are becoming Hollywood. 🍿

Here's the Clucker take: when a franchise blows up on screen, collectors come running for the ORIGINAL games. First the movie, then the eBay hunt for the disc that started it all. 👀 So if you've got a favorite Xbox title sitting on your shelf... maybe don't sell it just yet. 😏

A MASSIVE DEPARTMENT 56 COLLECTION IS COMING TO THE FUNKY CLUCKER!

Starting November 1, we’ll begin releasing one of the largest Department 56 collections we’ve had through the store.

We’ve been carefully going through the collection, photographing, identifying and preparing each piece individually. There are dozens of vintage lighted buildings plus accessories, figures and more, with many pieces including their original boxes.

You’ll see classic Dickens’ Village pieces, retired buildings, churches, shops, inns and all the little details that make these villages such a Christmas tradition.

Rather than selling everything as one giant lot, pieces will be available individually, so collectors can grab exactly what they need for their own village.

SALE BEGINS NOVEMBER 1
