Hanalei Pools

Dirt, rebar, and a whole lot of patience. Then this. ✨

Every finished pool starts as a hole in the ground and a plan most people cannot picture yet. That gap is the hardest part of the process for homeowners, and it is exactly where a good builder earns their keep.

Steel, plumbing, plaster, tile, lighting. Each stage is a decision that either shows up in the finished space or quietly holds it together for the next twenty years.

Worth the mess every time.

Ever wonder where the name came from? 🌺

Hanalei Bay sits on the north shore of Kauai, tucked between mountains on either side. It is one of those places that stays with you long after you leave, and it has been a family favorite for years.

When it came time to name a pool company more than eight years ago, nothing else came close. That feeling of calm water surrounded by something beautiful is exactly what a backyard should give you.

Eight years later, that is still the standard every custom pool gets measured against. Not just how it looks on day one, but how it feels to come home to.
Thinking through a pool project for your own home? We would love to hear about it.

4 PM or 11 PM. Which version of your backyard would you pick? ☀️🌙

At 4, it is all about the water. Cannonballs, sunscreen, someone claiming the best lounger before anyone else gets outside.

At 11, the house is quiet, the lighting takes over, and the pool becomes the calmest room you own.

A well designed custom pool should earn its place at both hours.

That comes down to planning the layout, lighting, and surrounding space as one experience from the very beginning, not adding pieces later.

We design and build luxury custom pools for homeowners in San Antonio, New Braunfels, and across Central Texas.

Which hour would you spend out here? Let us know below. 👇

Ask a pool builder what the best part of the job is and you might be surprised by the answer.

It is not the reveal photos. It is the day we come back to check on everything, and a kid comes flying out the back door and hits the water before anyone can say a word.

That moment tells you the whole project landed. The design, the construction, the startup and chemistry, the follow up after the water goes in. All of it exists so a family can stop thinking about the pool and just use it.

Nobody hires a custom pool builder because they want a construction project. They want the afternoon that comes after. 🌊

Curious how the process works from design through that first swim? Reach out anytime, we are happy to walk you through it.

Afternoon sun on the water, then the lights come up. 🌙

The best pools change with the day. Late afternoon is for floating and doing nothing in particular. Evening is when the space turns into somewhere you actually want to gather, glass in hand, nobody in a hurry to go inside.

That is the point of building it right. The tile, the coping, the lighting, the way the water sits against the deck. Details you stop noticing after a while because they simply work, season after season.

There are plenty of pool builders across San Antonio and Central Texas, but the right fit comes down to more than price or design alone.

You want someone who understands your vision, respects your budget, communicates clearly, and stays transparent throughout the process 🏊‍♂️🏡

The excitement starts long before the first swim ✨

Most homeowners can already picture the finished pool, the summer days, the family time, and the backyard gatherings 🏊‍♂️🏡

What they may not realize is how many important decisions come before that, from the plaster and finishes to the overall feel of the space.

That’s why every project is guided through an eight phase construction process, so the vision, the details, and the budget all stay aligned from the beginning.
