Winding Branch Ranch

Little hands. Muddy boots. Big discoveries. 🌱

Final chance to enroll in fall Sprouts Farm School! Children ages 2–6 and their caregivers will spend eight weeks planting, exploring, meeting the animals who call the sanctuary home and discovering where their food comes from.

We believe a connection to agriculture can begin with something as simple as picking a tomato or digging in the soil. That’s what Sprouts is all about.

🌱 Thursdays or Fridays, 10 AM–12 PM
📍 Winding Branch Ranch in Bulverde

Give your little rancher room to grow. Enroll today at windingbranchranch.org/sprouts.

💔🎃

We’re members of the Bulverde/Spring Branch BNI chapter and would love to see a few more local businesses around the table with us.

There are still quite a few open categories, including plumbers, general contractors, landscapers, photographers, bankers and more.

If you own a local business, want to connect with other business owners in the Bulverde/Spring Branch area or have just been curious about what BNI is, come check us out. It’s a good group of people and a great way to actually get to know other businesses in our community.

If you have questions or want to visit, reach out to Nichole at [email protected].

We were hoping we would not have to post something like this again, especially so soon.

After the flooding we experienced earlier this year, Winding Branch Ranch is once again preparing for severe weather and the possibility of flooding at the sanctuary.

The Pumpkin Patch will be closed Thursday and Friday. We are closely monitoring the weekend forecast and remain hopeful that we can safely welcome everyone back Saturday and Sunday.

This fundraiser helps carry our mission through the year. It supports the daily care of the animals who call the sanctuary home, rescue work, feed, veterinary care and the agricultural education programs we provide to our community. Losing these days hurts, and losing the weekend would be an even greater setback.

But right now, our priority is simple: protect the animals, protect the sanctuary and keep our volunteers and guests safe.

If you were planning to visit, please consider coming another day. We’ll be adding additional open dates in October, including Monday, October 12.

And if you can help us right now, please share this post. Every share helps us reach families who may still be able to visit later this month and support the mission behind the Pumpkin Patch.

Thank you for continuing to stand with Winding Branch Ranch.

Updates to come.

🌱 Your little one’s favorite day of the week might be at the sanctuary.

Sprouts Farm School is starting soon, and enrollment is open for children ages 2–6!

This isn’t a classroom with a farm theme. It’s real, hands-on learning at Winding Branch Ranch. Sprouts get outside, dig in the garden, discover where food comes from, meet the animals who call the sanctuary home and learn through the kind of experiences little minds remember.

🐐 Meaningful animal connections
🌱 Gardening and growing
🥕 Food and farming discovery
🐛 Nature-based exploration
🤲 Hands-on learning
💛 Small groups with plenty of room to explore

If your child is curious, loves animals, likes getting their hands dirty or simply thrives outside, Sprouts was made for them.

Our next session begins soon and space is limited. Enroll by October 15.
