This Abominable shot is one of the most “epic” shots I’ve ever been cast on, and I love it mostly because of what the FX and Lighting added to it. I really love the way Yi's hair is flowing, the glowy trail of the magic from the violin strings, and the aurora-borealis backdrop. It just makes for such a stunning composition. These are all things I had ZERO involvement with by the way -- Yorie Kumalasari () was responsible for these wonderful effects! It’s really cool seeing how much every department builds upon the previous one with the shared goal of making the film look👌

Thanks to ‘s cute design, the daughter character ended up being super appealing. It's a shame she's only in a couple of second of Brush 🙃. Check out the full short film on my Youtube!

One of the fun things when I worked on my short has been seeing things all the way from concept to ex*****on. I remember scribbling some crappy drawings of this story beat a couple of years ago, and to see it all the way through modeling, rendering, and finally compositing has been really rewarding-- and it remained pretty similar to the original idea.

When you accidentally butt dial your friend but are too nice to hang up without explaining yourself first. Hopefully I was able to capture the callers’ polite panic — that was my favorite part of the voicemail 😄. Thank you for this amazingly wholesome voicemail submission!
