Our 2026/27 season is back on! Oracle’s extraordinary $10 million gift means our season will resume and the announced furloughs of our musicians and full-time staff will not occur.
THANK YOU, Oracle, for this profound investment in the Nashville Symphony and our city. And thank you to everyone who shared how much this orchestra means to you.
This is YOUR orchestra. As we undertake the work to strengthen our financial future, continued giving from our community and corporate partners remains essential.
Affected ticket holders: Watch your inbox for an email with your options and next steps.
We can’t wait to welcome you back to Schermerhorn Symphony Center!

Thousands of AFM musicians orchestrate, prepare, and record the musical scores for film, television, and streaming projects, and its time for our government to allow us to compete for jobs in a global industry 🎬
We are proud to be in coalition with a broad range of labor unions and other stakeholders to support the Motion Picture, Television, and Entertainment Revitalization Act (MPTERA). Led by Senators Scott (R-SC) and Schiff (D-CA) and Representatives Moran (R-TX), Sanchez (D-CA), Jack (R-GA), and Friedman(D-CA), this proposal has bi-partisan support in the U.S. House and Senate.

Thousands of AFM musicians orchestrate, prepare, and perform the musical scores for film, television, and streaming projects. It is time for our government to allow us to compete for jobs in a global industry. A federal tax incentive is necessary to keep jobs in the United States and grow the sector.
We are proud to be in coalition with a broad range of labor unions and other stakeholders to support the Motion Picture, Television, and Entertainment Revitalization Act (MPTERA). Led by Senators Scott (R-SC) and Schiff (D-CA) and Representatives Moran (R-TX), Sanchez (D-CA), Jack (R-GA), and Friedman (D-CA), this proposal has support from Democrats and Republicans in the US House and Senate.

“By licensing our members’ performances to AI platforms like Suno and Udio without consent, credit, or compensation, companies like Universal, Warner Records, and Atlantic are bypassing the very human creators who made their catalogs valuable in the first place,” AFM International President Tino Gagliardi said in a statement.
Why some musicians aren't happy about labels signing AI deals with platforms Record labels that sued AI music companies are now licensing them. But payouts are undisclosed, lawsuits continue and musicians ask who benefits.
