It’s been awhile, but we’re back with our series on Brotox

Healthy isn’t a goal. Being well is. Because the absence of disease does not automatically equal health. And honestly, this can be especially difficult in the US, where much of healthcare is structured around diagnosing and treating disease, not necessarily optimizing health before disease appears.

You can have normal laps and still feel exhausted. You can have no diagnosis and still feel completely depleted. You can be functioning every day while your body is quietly asking for help. As practitioners, we have to start asking different questions not just, “what’s wrong?”

But
How are you functioning? How are you recovering? How are your hormones, metabolism, mitochondria, sleep, nutrition, and mental well-being? And most importantly, how do you feel?

waiting until something breaks is not proactive healthcare. Disease management keeps you from being sick. True wellness gives you the opportunity to thrive. Our goal shouldn’t be for you to simply not have a disease. Our goal should be for you to feel your absolute best while you’re here. Because there is a difference between being alive, being healthy and being truly well!!
