The Five Heartbeats (1991) is the only movie centered around the fictional R&B group, directed by and starring Robert Townsend. The film follows the group's rise to fame in the 1960s and their struggles with success, personal challenges, and the harsh realities of the music industry. The movie is celebrated for its dynamic performances, heartfelt story, and powerful soundtrack, becoming a cult classic over time. In 2018, a documentary called Making The Five Heartbeats was released, which explores the behind-the-scenes process of creating the original movie. 🎥🎶

Scott Weiland certainly one of the nicest people I've ever met . I had the privelage of working with Scott on Stone Temple Pilots , Velvet Revolver and many of his solo projects. Through it all , he was the consummate musician , in that he bore his creativity from the sole , it was all out there for everyone to see. Ironically , Chester Bennington too was musician first , and was confidant expressing himself was from the deepest and yes, sometimes darkest depths of his life as hard as it might seem to realize.
