Calhoun High School FCCLA Shines at Nationals!

Calhoun High School FCCLA recently represented Georgia at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., bringing home major honors and unforgettable memories.

Lily Harmon won a GOLD medal on the national stage in the Teaching Strategies STAR Event.

Camille Harwell competed in the School-to-Career Challenge Test, and Caroline Harwell competed in both the Counseling and Mental Health and the Principles of Human Services Challenge Tests.

Beyond competitions, the students connected with members nationwide through the FCCLA pin-trading tradition and the annual fashion show. They also explored iconic national landmarks, including the Smithsonian, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the National Archives.

A huge thank you to FCCLA Advisor Sarah Brown and chaperone Julie Harmon for their guidance and dedication to these students.

Congratulations to these outstanding young leaders for representing Calhoun High School with true Yellow Jacket pride!
