PACT is a statewide coalition that educates Pennsylvania legislators and the public about critical to***co control issues.

Founded in 2001 by the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and American Lung Association, PACT advocates for to***co control and helps Pennsylvanians learn about to***co control issues. Today, as a contractor of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, PACT works with local coalitions and national health organizations to educate the public and elected officials about clean indoor air, to***co taxes, and other critical to***co control issues.

Individual choices matter, but to***co prevention goes beyond the decisions one person makes.

Strong policies, prevention programs, to***co free environments and access to cessation resources can all help reduce to***co use and prevent young people from starting.

Through education and advocacy, PACT works to advance to***co control efforts that support healthier communities across Pennsylvania.

International Day of Peace

Peace starts with healthier communities.

Tobacco-free schools, parks, and public spaces help create environments where everyone can breathe easier, learn, grow, and thrive.

When we work together to promote healthy spaces, we help build stronger communities for everyone.

This National IT Professionals Day, we're thinking about digital literacy.

Just as people learn to recognize scams and misleading information online, young people can learn to identify to***co and va**ng marketing tactics designed to influence their choices.

Helping people think critically about what they see online is an important part of prevention.

Pennsylvania’s Clean Indoor Air Act limits smoking in many public places and workplaces, but exemptions remain. That means not every worker in Pennsylvania has the same protections from secondhand smoke.

PACT continues to advocate for stronger protections and healthier environments for everyone who lives and works in Pennsylvania.

"Your lungs support every breath you take, making it possible to enjoy time with family, spend time outdoors, and stay active in your community.

Supporting lung health means reducing exposure to to***co smoke, encouraging to***co free lifestyles, and advocating for policies that help everyone breathe easier.

Every positive step we take today contributes to healthier communities tomorrow.

Together, we can help create a healthier Pennsylvania for everyone.
