Liberty Elementary

Way to go, Weston! We love celebrating our Liberty Lions!

We are thankful to have Ms. Barber representing LES on this important council!

As our kindergarten letter parade reminded us, “L” is for Liberty Lions, and we sure are missing our Lions this week! We can’t wait to see them back on Monday! 🦁❤️

It was a great week of learning at LES!
Ms. Kay’s kinders are working hard in reading growing their vocabulary after reading their weekly anchor text.

Ms. Burn’s 1st grade readers are learning vowel teams sound and placements in words.

Ms. Robbin’s 2nd grade students engaged in turn and talks during their first read of the weekly anchor text.

Ms. Baldwin’s 3rd grade students annotated texts using a standards based text annotation guide after partner reading.

Ms. Nall’s and Ms. Cagle’s 4th graders students reviewed authors purpose with a fun pie the teacher game.

Ms. Hogan’s 5th graders learned specific editing marks and practiced with a mentor text before editing their own narrative.

We are blessed with the best at LES!❤️💛

Join us in shouting out our stellar school nutrition team for scoring 100 on their recent inspection!!! CCSD School Nutrition What a great way to head into fall break!

Tonight, Ms. Bradbury and Dr. Harrison were able to attend the CCSD Board Meeting for the official launch of the Strategic Plan 2032. We are excited for this community created plan and all that’s in store.

We loved celebrating our amazing Support Staff Member of the Year, Ms. Jennifer Maloney! Her dedication to our community over the last 15 years can be seen and felt by all. We are blessed to have her as the heartbeat of LES. ❤️

That’s our Ms. Carpenter! Thankful to have her as our art teacher at LES!

Way to go, Liberty Lions! 🙌🦁
