The deadline is approaching!! You only have 5 more days to apply for this scholarship!!

OCD doesn’t always exist in a vacuum. 🧠

When OCD occurs alongside other conditions, things can become significantly more complex — from diagnostic clarity and case conceptualization to deciding what treatment approach makes the most sense.

That’s why advanced OCD training matters.

The 2026 IOCDF Advanced Forum on OCD and Comorbidities is taking place October 22–24 in Houston, TX, with virtual options available.

This forum is designed for clinicians with advanced OCD training and will focus on the complexities of assessing and treating OCD when co-occurring conditions are part of the clinical picture.

✨ And we’re excited to share that OCD Midwest is offering a scholarship opportunity for this event!

If you’re a clinician in our region who is interested in expanding your knowledge, strengthening your clinical skills, and learning more about complex OCD presentations and comorbidities, we encourage you to apply.

Want to apply for the OCD Midwest scholarship?

Continuing education isn’t about knowing everything. It’s about continuing to learn, challenge our assumptions, and become better equipped to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care.

Complex OCD presentations deserve specialized care — and we want to help make advanced training more accessible. 🤍

Indiana showed UP. 💚

The Indiana OCD Walk was such a powerful reminder of what advocacy and community can look like when we come together. Every person who walked, donated, shared their story, showed up for someone they love, or simply stood beside the OCD community helped make space for something that can feel incredibly isolating.

OCD can make you feel like you’re the only one having these thoughts, facing these fears, or fighting this battle—but you are not alone.

We walk to raise awareness.
We walk to fight stigma.
We walk so people can find the right treatment.
We walk so nobody has to suffer in silence.

And most importantly, we walk together. 🫶

Thank you, Indiana, for showing what an OCD community looks like when we refuse to let shame and isolation have the final say.

This is advocacy. This is community. This is OCD awareness. 💚

🚨 OCD Midwest Lunch & Learn is back with another great topic!!! 🚨

Getting an OCD diagnosis right is more than just putting a label on symptoms—it’s an essential part of providing ethical, effective, and appropriate care. Misdiagnosis can delay treatment, reinforce OCD cycles, and leave individuals feeling misunderstood or hopeless.

Join us for “The Ethical Cost of Misdiagnosis: Identifying OCD Subtypes, Differential Diagnosis, and Implementing Best Practices” with Dr. Daniel Stone, PhD & Ashley Lamarca, LCSW! 🧠

This training is designed to help clinicians, providers, and school personnel better recognize the full spectrum of OCD, understand differential diagnosis, and strengthen their clinical decision-making.

📅 September 18th, 2026 | Friday
⏰ 11:00 AM–1:00 PM CST / 12:00–2:00 PM EST
💰 $20
📚 2 Ethics CEUs

Whether you work directly with OCD or want to feel more confident recognizing when OCD may be hiding beneath the surface, this is a training you won’t want to miss!
