Visitors of the History Center can explore our county's history from Native American inhabitation to events shaping our communities today. The Cherokee County History Center including the museum, research library, and Visitor's Center is temporarily closed to the public at this time for construction. Our big America 250 Birthday Bash is TOMORROW! We have a full day of patriotic activites planned to celebrate Constitution Week!

Join us THIS Saturday for our America 250 Birthday Party! There are lots of fun activities planned!
10 am- Doors Open
11 am- Puppet Show
12:30 pm- Flag Raising/Lowering Ceremony
2 pm- Puppet Show
There will also be crafts throughout the day, a historical re-enactment from Terry Allee, and visitation from SAR and DAR representatives
(Some of the activites fulfill requirements for the Cub Scouts Wolf Dens Council Fire Adventure and Bear Dens Paws for Action Adventure)

We will be doing a flag raising/lowering ceremony on Saturday as part of our America 250 Birthday Party to celebrate Constitution Week! The day is full of activities, but the flag ceremony will take place at 12:30pm!
