Kent Public Library

We had the BEST visit from Kids Kottage this week! 💙📚

Twenty-five children and their parents filled the library with laughter, curiosity, and a love of learning. We loved having everyone here and seeing our library buzzing with so much joy!

And thank you for this adorable sign—you know how to make us smile! 🥰
We truly love our community and are so grateful for the wonderful families who make the Kent Public Library such a special place. 💙

Celebrate America250 and join Kevin Wood as he portrays America's beloved 16th president!

This program is for ages 8 through Adult. Registration is required.

This week kicks off , an annual observation started more than 40 years ago in response to a sudden surge in the number of attempts to censor or remove books in libraries, schools, and bookstores.

Stop by the Kent Public Library and "check out" how many we have here!

I think some of the banned titles might surprise you... 😮

We’re excited to welcome Bucky, our new therapy dog, to the Kent Public Library!

Children ages 5–11 can build confidence, practice reading skills, and simply enjoy the calming experience of reading aloud to a therapy dog. Bucky is a wonderful listener—and he never interrupts or judges!

Paws to Read offers 15-minute individual reading sessions by appointment only. Registration is required.
