Pairing modern glass-lite garage doors with a traditional shingle-clad form was a deliberate contrast, and it pays off at dusk when the lit panels pick up the glow from every window in the house.

Deep wood cabinetry and a coffered ceiling can make a room feel heavy, so a waterfall stone island and bright coral seating keep the traditional bones while giving the space real energy.

Now THAT is a countertop! (and backsplash)

A small vanity.

The facade was bland until we added the porch.

Stairs. Again.

Basement bar designed for real-world use. Curved contemporary lines define the zone, layered lighting creates warmth, and every cabinet serves a purpose.

I don't know what it is about them, but I like designing stairs.

Little bathrooms count too!

Quiet luxury: a long vanity wall, integrated lighting, and under-cabinet glow that makes the whole room feel like it is floating.
