Carol Stream Chamber

Still Smiling About This One… ⛳

It has been more than a week since the Carol Stream Chamber’s 37th Annual Golf Outing—and we’re still talking about what a great day it was!

Beautiful weather. A beautiful course. Plenty of golf, laughter, friendly competition and connections happening everywhere. Best of all, I had the chance to see golfers I hadn’t seen in far too long. That may have been my favorite part of the entire day.

A huge thank-you to our major sponsors:

🏌️Flood Brothers Disposal & Recycling Services — Presenting Sponsor
🏌️Athletes HQ DuPage — Community Champion Sponsor
🏌️Ingram Micro — Eagle Sponsor

All three brought golfers to the course, joined in the fun and helped make the outing a tremendous success.

Our staffed-hole sponsors brought activities, contests, giveaways and plenty of personality to the course. Our golfers embraced every bit of it—and judging by these pictures, no one was having a terrible time!

Thank you to every sponsor, golfer, volunteer, raffle donor and Golf Committee member who helped create such a memorable day at Bartlett Hills Golf Club. This outing supports the Chamber’s largest fundraiser of the year, but it also reminds us why bringing people together matters.

If you missed it, take a look at these pictures. Fair warning: they may make you wish you had been there.

We’ll save you a spot next year. ⛳

Carol Stream works because they do.

This Labor Day, we’re celebrating the people behind our businesses—the ones who show up, work hard, solve problems and keep our community moving forward.

Tag someone whose hard work deserves to be recognized—and tell us what makes them so good at what they do.

Happy Labor Day from the Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce!

Small But Mighty!

Our New Member Breakfast may have been a smaller gathering, but it was a great morning of real conversation, new connections and getting to know one another.

Even better? Some of our newest members are already jumping in and joining DBI, Doing Business with Intention. That’s what Chamber membership is all about showing up, getting involved and putting those connections to work.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and especially to Dr. Kara Babinski of BodyWorks Medical Center, who continues to be the most gracious and generous host. Kara, we appreciate you more than words can say. ❤️

And, of course, no New Member Breakfast would be complete without Dr. Kara and her very handsome sidekick, Beau! 🐾

Small group. Great connections. Mighty good morning.

⛳ Look Who’s Helping Make Our Golf Outing Happen!

We’re getting closer to the 37th Annual John Wheeler Golf Outing on September 10, and before we talk about golf, we want to talk about gratitude.

So many Chamber businesses have stepped up to make this day possible!

A BIG thank you to Flood Brothers Disposal & Recycling, our Presenting Sponsor; Athletes HQ DuPage, our Community Champion Sponsor; and Ingram Micro, our Eagle Sponsor.

And the support keeps going!

Our Golf Outing is the Chamber’s biggest fundraiser, and these businesses are helping support much more than one fun day on the course. They’re supporting the programs, connections and work of the Chamber all year long.

There’s still room to join us—golf, sponsor, grab a VIP Ticket, volunteer or donate a raffle prize.

Come be part of the Chamber community. And fingers crossed for a beautiful day and plenty of fun in the sun!

The Coolest Ribbon Cutting of the Summer!

What happens when creativity, community, and a little slime come together?

About 100 people came out to celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of Slime Lab in Carol Stream—and it was incredible!

Kids stretched, squished, and created their own slime. Families enjoyed face painting, ice cream, giveaways, and one of the coolest interactive art experiences we've ever seen—the Slime Splat Wall, where every guest adds their own splash of color to a growing masterpiece.

Congratulations to Janki Patel, her family, and the entire Slime Lab team for bringing such an imaginative concept to Carol Stream. What started as a dream has already become a destination, with families traveling from across the region—and even neighboring states—to experience the fun.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special, including Mayor Frank Saverino, our Village Trustees, Chamber Board President Jeff Berger, Chamber members, family, friends, and so many community supporters.

This is exactly what a Chamber celebration should be...

A business opening its doors.
A community showing up.
And a whole lot of smiles.

Welcome to the Carol Stream Chamber family, Slime Lab!
