Hickory Level Hound was a state and county licensed dog rescue with a non profit (501c3) status. We pulled dogs from "death row" in shelters all over the USA

HLHR rehabilitates "death row" after pulling them from kill shelters, to ready them for forever homes or transport north to partner groups. Dogs are housed in private residences and we do NOT have a facility. We encourage visitors by appointment ONLY, and dont allow meetings unless you have been approved through our adoption process.
