Sierra is a mix… or, as we like to call her, a certified super mutt. Is she a Shepherd? Black Mouth Cur? Chihuahua? We have no idea… all we know is she’s amazing and cute and happy to be off the streets!

Sierra is about 12lbs currently and we expect her to be medium sized dog when full grown.

This girl is living her best life splashing around in the kiddie pool, playing with her dog friends, and winning over every human she meets. She’s happy, social, goofy, and has the kind of personality that makes everyone fall in love. In fact, dare we say… she’s pretty perfect.

Cowboy is a 7 year old Pointer/Labrador mix who has found himself stuck in a shelter snd in need of some help. He’s hit the urgent list.

He was relinquished to the shelter by his owner who reports that he’s dog, cat and kid friendly.

He is neutered and vaccinated and heart-worm negative. The shelter reports he “does great in his kennel” and is a “wonderful dog”….

Would anyone be up for fostering this sweet boy and giving him a second chance before his time is up?

🤔Birdie came to us…. Well, we don’t really know exactly how. Say what?!?

We actually got the wrong puppy and were not expecting Birdie with our South Texas transport and wow, are we thrilled she somehow got to us at Cane Rosso Rescue.

We rolled with it… we obvs weren’t sending her back to South Texas…fosters rolled with it (thank you!!)…. and Birdie has proven to be one amazing girl that we lucked out in getting to rescue!

She’s been a gem of a puppy in her foster home, learning and showing off how smart and fun she is!

😢This ridiculously adorable little guy was found living under a bush… for DAYS.

While everyone else ignored him and said “not my problem”, we stepped up. Because that’s what we do here at Cane Rosso Rescue.

Fast forward through a few vet visits, dewormer, a couple of baths, lots of kisses and snuggles and look at him now! He’s thriving in his foster home!

Alfie is about 8 pounds of pure happiness, and we expect him to stay on the smaller side. We think he’s a terrier mix, but honestly your guess is as good as ours. (Whoever adopts him is officially required to do a DNA test and report back. We need answers.)

He’s playful, silly, confident, and assumes every dog he meets is there to be his best friend. When he’s done zooming around, you’ll find him buried under the fluffiest blanket in the house, snuggled up like the sweet baby he is!

🚨 Two dogs. Two foster homes needed to help them escape South Texas.

Mama Elsa and her puppy Sven are both looking for foster homes—but they do not need to stay together. In fact, Cane Rosso Rescue is searching for one foster home for Elsa and another foster home for Sven.

🩷Elsa has done her job. She raised her puppy, protected him, and gave him everything she had. Now it’s her turn to be cared for. She deserves a soft bed, a quiet place to decompress, and someone to remind her that she’s loved, too. She’s dog friendly and so loving and sweet.

🐶 Sven is just an 8 week old puppy. He’s all the things puppies should be—curious, playful, and ready to take on the world. All he needs is a safe place to grow while he waits for his forever family.
