Project BRAVE is a parenting program to help Asian American parents have healthy conversations with their young children. This project was developed based on research on child and family development.

2026 AMPLIFY! A Festival of Asian American Music, Sound, and Scholarship on last week in Chicago, Illinois. The conference was held by the Music of Asian America Research Center, in partnership with Asian Improv Arts Midwest and Elastic Arts.

FYLPRO delegates and Tayo cofounders Leezel Tanglao (2019) and Mark Calaguas (2016) and collaborator Valter Guevarra (VLTR) presented “‘Between Blinks’: Composing Sonic Pathways for Community Care,” which discussed how “Between Blinks” unfolded as both an artistic expression and a vehicle for community care. The project emerged during Vltr’s participation in Asian PaCIVICS, The Slants Foundation’s artist-accelerator program that uses music to help drive civic engagement and social impact.
