Xquisite has founded multidisciplinary team of passionate community leaders alongside the Carson City Sheriff’s Office to be an active presence against s*xual violence in Northern Nevada. We toured Carson Tahoe Hospital’s Youth Crisis Intervention Center and began meaningful conversations on how we can support their work with youth in crisis.

It was an honor to hear AG Aaron Ford, and gubernatorial candidate to hear his passion, commitment and considerations for survivors. Xquisite also had the privilege of joining amazing organizations doing powerful work on behalf of survivors of domestic violence, s*xual assault, and human trafficking in Nevada.

There is no perfect sentence that heals trauma. No magical advice. No shortcut.
But there are people who choose to remain present.
Again and again.
Sometimes the greatest gift we can offer another person is the confidence that they won't have to face tomorrow alone.
We will show up. We will tell the truth. We will fight for people's dignity and freedom.

What does showing up look like to you? We'd love to hear your thoughts.

Asking why someone stayed often assumes they had choices that felt safe.
Many survivors didn't.
Instead of judging decisions we don't fully understand, we can become curious about the circumstances that shaped them.
Compassion begins where assumptions end.
We will show up. We will tell the truth. We will fight for people's dignity and freedom.
