đż **You Came Near**
âYou came near when I called you, and you said, âDo not fear.ââ Lamentations 3:57
Lamentations was written in the midst of deep grief and hardship, yet even there we find this reminder. When the writer cried out to God, God heard him and drew near.
We may not always see our circumstances change when we pray, but we can trust that God is present with us in them. When fear feels close, we can call on the One who is closer.
Whatever youâre carrying today, bring it honestly before God. His presence gives us reason to keep trusting.
True worship and true salvation.

đż Choose Forgiveness
âAnd when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.â Mark 11:25
Jesus connects prayer with the condition of our hearts toward others. Holding onto resentment can be easy, especially when weâve been genuinely hurt, but Jesus calls us toward forgiveness.
Forgiveness doesnât mean pretending the hurt didnât matter or that trust must immediately be restored. It means releasing our desire to hold another personâs wrong against them and remembering how freely God has shown mercy to us.
As we come before God in prayer, may we also ask Him to help us extend the grace we have received.

đ¤ How We Treat One Another
âFinally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.â 1 Peter 3:8
Peter gives us a picture of Christian community. Seek unity, care about what others are going through, love one another, show compassion, and walk with humility.
These qualities matter in our homes, friendships, workplaces, and church family. We wonât always agree, but we can choose to listen, respond with kindness, and remember that the people around us are worthy of patience and care.
May the way we treat one another reflect the love of Christ.

đ A Love for Godâs Word
âOh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.â Psalm 119:97
Psalm 119 is filled with a deep appreciation for Godâs Word. The psalmist didnât see Godâs instruction as a burden, but as something worth returning to throughout the day because it revealed the wisdom and character of God.
Spending time in Scripture gives us truth to carry into our everyday lives. As we read it, think about it, and put it into practice, it begins to shape our decisions, attitudes, and understanding of who God is.
May we grow not only in our knowledge of His Word, but also in our love for it.
The Fall

âď¸ The Battle Is Already Won
Some days, it can feel like weâre surrounded by battles involving temptation, fear, disappointment, or challenges we simply cannot control.
But the cross reminds us that our hope doesnât depend on our ability to fight hard enough or hold everything together. Jesus has already accomplished what we never could. Through His death and resurrection, sin and death have been defeated.
âI have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.â John 16:33
Whatever youâre facing today, remember where your hope rests. Christ has overcome.

đ§ Sanctuary or Battleground?
Our minds can be places of peace, prayer, and truth... but they can also become battlegrounds filled with worry, temptation, comparison, anger, and fear.
Scripture reminds us that what we allow to fill our minds matters. We are called to take our thoughts captive, renew our minds with Godâs truth, and intentionally turn our attention toward what is good.
That doesnât mean difficult thoughts never come. It means they donât have to be given the final word and turned into action.
âTake captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.â 2 Corinthians 10:5
What have you been allowing to take up space in your mind lately?

đż Serve with Your Whole Heart
âServe wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people.â Ephesians 6:7
Much of what we do each day can feel ordinary. Work, chores, responsibilities, helping others, being a stay at home parent, and tasks that may never receive much recognition. Ephesians reminds us that even ordinary work can be done with a greater purpose.
When we serve wholeheartedly, our focus shifts from gaining approval or recognition to honoring God in the way we work and care for others.
Whatever is in front of you today, do it faithfully. Even when no one else notices, the way we serve matters to God.
