Presenting live music at select venues from the best in singer songwriters, bluegrass, country, folk
The Six String Café in Cary NC was one of the country’s top music listening rooms providing a comfortable home for music fans and traveling troubadours. Founder David Sardinha has now taken The Six String “show on the road”. Six String Presents will host music shows from musicians who tour both locally and nationally. Shows will be held at select venues which focus on the music experience and offer the audience the quality of performance art they were accustom to at the original Six String Café and Music Hall. Currently, Six String Presents is working with The Town of Cary to present a series of shows at the Town of Cary's renovated 1940’s movie theater The Cary Theater at 122 East Chatham Street, Cary North Carolina 27511 and at The Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Avenue, Cary NC 27511.

On stage he was rough and gruff and intense. Back stage he was kind, gentle and polite. A real gentle-man. RIP Malcolm Holcombe. It was good to know you and a treat to see you perform. My sympathies to his Cyndi Holcombe.

Hi there Six String Followers... I hope all have been well. The Taters, who performed at Six String Shows many times, are coming back to the area to celebrate 25 years together. If you get the chance, please check them out at The Berkley Cafe in downtown Raleigh on August 6th at 8pm. Here's a link for more info https://fb.me/e/28QD35ozK
The Taters bring their eclectic blend of Roots-Pop, to The Berkley Cafe on Sat, Aug 6 on a double bill with NC's own Secret Monkey Weekend. The Taters celebrate 25 years with a sound that is a curious, accidental mix of the Mavericks, the Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison and the Beatles. No matter what the style, the music always centers around vocal melodies and harmonies, and it's hard to walk away from a show without humming the songs.
