K-2 - all Wednesdays at 10:00 and a couple Wednesdays at 4:30 still have spots 9/16(2 spots) 9/23(1 spot),

3rd-5th - Tuesdays 4:30 9/15(1 spot), 9/22(2 spots), 9/29(1 spot)

Saturday August 1st (tomorrow) we will begin registration for September Classes.

*in-person registration starts at 9:00a

*phone registration starts at 11:00a

*you may sign up for two families of children

*we follow WCPSS age/grade cut offs

PreK - 3yo-5yo (must be 3yo by the classdate, may be 5yo if their birthday is 8/1/2021 or more recent)

K-2 (if your child was born before 8/1/2021 to 7/31/2018)

3rd-5th (if your child was born between 8/01/2018 and 7/31/2015)

Please just sign up for the correct age group and keep it easy.

No, it doesn't matter if your child is MENSA, the average dullard isn't taking extracurricular science classes for fun, your genius might be pleasantly suprised to discover themselves grouped with actual peers. If, after a few classes, Ms Siobhan can evaluate your situation and approve any appropriate exceptions.

Likewise, please do not put your child in a younger class due to scheduling conflicts, sibling sets/friend groups, or your work schedule.

We are providing quality educational programming curated to particular age groups. We are unwill to sacrifice the quality of our programming for a child at their own expense or the other nine class participants. If your child is too old/young for a class, they will not achieve their full potential and have a negative experience; we don't want them to dislike our classes or science because they are in the wrong group. Older kids in a lower class get bored and/or dominate the class which makes for a lesser class for the other students. Children too young for a class, while bright, may not have the social, developmental, or other tangent skills expected/needed to fully engage. The classes already have a three year spread, allowing Ms Siobhan to work within that overton window of experiences to customize each individual group.
