Natrona County Democrats

Some core memories from my childhood include going with my parents to vote. They took my brother and me with every election, every time.

Now, I do the same thing with my own kids.

Is it always easy? Not exactly. Sometimes the kids play under the table while I’m filling in the circles, like they did today. 😅 But it’s important that they participate in the process.

I want my kids to know that voting is our civic duty. It is one way we express and practice our patriotism. 🇺🇸

I want them to understand the process so that when it’s their turn to vote, they feel confident walking into a polling place. 🗳️

I want them to see that regular people can make a difference when they show up and participate. 😊

The future of Wyoming belongs to them. Bringing them along to vote is one small way to help them understand that they have a role in shaping what comes next.

And obviously the stickers were the highlight of the morning detour. Did you even really vote if you didn’t get a sticker?

Registration for the primary closes Aug. 3. After that, voters can still register in person and vote absentee through Aug. 17, and same-day registration is available at the polls on Election Day.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
