🥚🧪 Akidemy’s Bouncy Egg Experiment! 🧪🥚

Our preschoolers had so much fun watching science happen all week long!

On Monday, we placed an egg in a cup of vinegar and immediately noticed MANY, MANY bubbles! 🫧

On Tuesday, we changed out the vinegar and once again observed lots of bubbles forming around our egg.

By Wednesday, our egg had grown larger and the shell was starting to come off! 👀

On Thursday, the egg had almost doubled in size, the shell was completely gone, and it felt super slimy! 🤢😂

Finally, on Friday, the kids got to touch and play with their “bouncy egg.” We discovered that it really DOES bounce… but we also discovered what happens when you bounce it a little too hard! 😂💥🥚

Our egg broke open, revealing the slimy yolk inside!

Such a fun week of observing, predicting, exploring, and learning through hands-on science! 🔬🧪❤️

🤖👾 Silly monsters, shapes & lots of yellow! 💛

Our Akidemy preschoolers got creative today building their own silly monster robots using our shape of the week — the rectangle — while bringing back some of our past shapes, triangles and circles! 🔺⭕️

Then we worked those little fingers by tearing and gluing yellow tissue paper onto our elephants! 🐘💛 Perfect practice for fine motor skills while learning our color of the week — YELLOW!

Learning is always more fun when it includes robots, monsters, elephants, and a little bit of a gluey mess! 😂💛

Our preschoolers continued learning the letter E by putting together their adorable elephants! 💕🐘

Then it was time for some science! We made Elephant Toothpaste and watched the big, foamy reaction happen! 🫧🧪

The only problem? The yeast and water smelled TERRIBLE! 🤢😂 We decided if this is really what elephants use to brush their teeth… their breath must STINK! 🐘🪥🤣

Learning the letter E has never been so stinky—or so much fun! 💚

Our Akidemy preschoolers kicked off learning the letter E with some hands-on fun today!

🧪 We started a science experiment to see if we can turn a regular egg into a BOUNCY egg! Now we have to be patient and let science do its thing. 👀🥚

🎨 We also got busy painting as we started creating our very own elephants! 🐘

Learning the letter E is already egg-stra fun! 😂💛

Our Akidemy preschoolers had a busy day of learning through play! 🦆💦 They splashed with ducks in the water, dug through sand for dinosaurs, and matched alphabet letters on the sides of dinosaurs. Then they put their fine motor skills to work decorating donuts! 🦖🔤🍩

Our Akidemy toddlers had a gooey, oh-so-fun time making gummy bear slime! 🧸✨ They mixed, squished, and explored their colorful creations—and the taste was quite divine! 😋 Learning through sensory play is always a sweet adventure at Akidemy!

Our Akidemy preschoolers are still digging into the letter D! 🦖 Today, we painted the clay dinosaurs we made yesterday and created dinosaur prints on our shape of the week—an oval! 🦕🎨 Learning is always a roaring good time at Akidemy!

D is for dinosaurs, digging, and delicious mud! 🦕🤎

Our Akidemy kids made clay dinosaurs, mixed up some “mud” (chocolate pudding), buried gummy worms, and later dug them out—and of course, ate some mud too! 😂 We finished the day by making beautiful oval sun catchers for our shape of the week! ☀️

Learning the letter D, the color brown, and the oval shape has never been so much fun!

Our preschool friends had a fun-filled day building their very own campfire 🔥, practicing those fine motor skills by gluing corn onto our shape of the week—the TRIANGLE 🌽🔺, and ending the day with some slimy sensory fun! 💚🙌

A little learning, a little mess, and a whole lot of fun—that’s how we do it at Akidemy! ❤️

Apparently saving the world is exhausting… our superheroes are officially off duty! 😂💤
