BrainWise was specifically created to teach critical thinking and decision making skills to children and teens. BrainWise understands that in order to control emotional or impulsive behavior, lasting change must come from building and reinforcing new critical thinking skills that teach children and teens how to stop and think before they act. Learning to be BrainWise is easy, and the curriculum is adaptable to almost any format. The high-impact curricula and teaching aids were designed to be flexible for teachers, while being simple to learn and engaging for students. Based upon careful research and developed in the class room, BrainWise is an internationally recognized, comprehensive program that introduces critical thinking concepts, applies them to everyday situations, and reinforces them through practice to create new and lasting neural pathways in the brain. By building advanced critical thinking skills and teaching students how to recognize everyday opportunities for application, the BrainWise program is helping kids replace impulsive responses with sound decision-making behavior.
