Here are the 10 photo settings I change first — before I ever press the shutter.

The big ones most people miss:
→ Long Exposure NR and High ISO NR should both be OFF (do it in Lightroom)
→ Shoot RAW + Compressed RAW — half the file size, zero visible loss
→ Separate your still and video memory sets or they’ll fight each other forever

The ones that matter most:
→ Set ALL your frame rates to 4:2:2 10-bit, not just one
→ DGO mode gives you clean ISO 800–3200 for interviews — leave it on
→ Shockless WB needs to be OFF or your white balance will drift mid-clip
