Of course, teachers create breathtaking classrooms and incredible setups—it’s impossible not to admire their dedication.
But sometimes, a child simply isn't ready for that material yet.
That’s why introducing the philosophy first through hands-on STEAM activities before presenting the material changes everything.
👇 How do you bridge the gap when a child isn't quite ready for a presentation yet? Let’s share ideas in the comments!

A Montessori rug activity can be so much more than learning how to use a material.
It’s also a little opportunity to build language naturally.
Instead of turning it into a vocabulary lesson, simply talk about what your child is already doing:

🤎 Reach for
🤎 Pull out
🤎 Pick up
🤎 Sort
You don’t need a vocabulary lesson. Just use the words while your child is actually doing the work.
Simple language + real Montessori moments = meaningful learning.
