Making an athlete tired is easy.

Making them faster is different.

Speed training requires high-quality sprinting and enough rest between reps to actually run fast.

If every “speed” workout is built around fatigue, your athlete may be training conditioning more than speed.

Conditioning has a purpose.

So does speed training.

Know the difference.

From June through August, these athletes posted the fastest Pro-Agility times at Williamsport. ⚡📈

Three months of testing. One summer leaderboard. Who’s taking the top spot this fall? 👀

2x/week of training—weights, sprints, and jumps—while NOT in a school sport is the BARE minimum to see noticeable results. Ideally, we want our high school athletes training 3x/week.

That said, the number of high school athletes who consistently complete 24 training sessions over 12 weeks is extremely low.

It’s easier than ever to separate yourself as an athlete simply because most athletes won’t show up consistently enough to do it.

Blake’s senior year didn’t start this fall. The work started months ago.

Blake was first exposed to TrueAP through training with his team. Last spring and summer, he made the decision to take his development further and consistently train inside the facility.

As a football and basketball athlete heading into his senior year, the goal was simple: become a better overall athlete and put himself in position for a big final year.

50 sessions later, the improvement speaks for itself.

Now he’s in the middle of his senior football season and having a great year.

The offseason matters. What you do with it shows up when the season arrives.

Mylee gets it.

Great training matters. Great coaching matters. But so does having an environment athletes enjoy coming back to.

From the variety in her workouts to flexible scheduling and being able to regularly see her progress, Mylee has embraced the entire TrueAP experience.

We love giving athletes a place where they can work, improve, and actually see the results of what they’re putting in.

Thanks for the kind words, Mylee! 🏀💪

That’s the Breakaway Speed guarantee.

Two dedicated speed sessions each week.

One acceleration day. One top-end speed day.

We test your athlete before they start and measure their progress at 30 sessions.

If they don’t add at least 1 mph of speed, they keep training with us at no additional cost until they do.

First month is 50% off.

Comment “SPEED” and we’ll send you the details.

The two biggest complaints athletes have about their coaches?

They over-coach, and they talk too much.

Every rep needs a correction.
Every mistake needs a lecture.
Every athlete needs an answer.

But if we’re constantly telling athletes what to do, when do they actually learn to think for themselves?

Athletes need feedback and coaching. But they also need space to think, struggle, make mistakes, adjust, solve problems, and grow.

At TrueAP, we do our best not to fill every second with our voice. We want to create an environment where athletes learn through experience, develop confidence, and figure things out for themselves.

Because our goal at TrueAP isn’t to create athletes who perform only when a coach is in their ear.

We want to develop athletes who can think, adapt, solve problems, trust themselves, and perform when no one is there to give them the answer.

That’s the kind of independence that carries beyond training and into competition.

More talking doesn’t always mean better coaching.

Sometimes the best coaching happens when the coach shuts up and lets learning happen.

Something changed in Morgan over the last year.

Not her love for the game.

Not her talent.

Her commitment.

She made the decision to put in the work when no one was watching. To develop the athleticism that would allow her skills to show up at an even higher level on the court.

And it paid off.

This was the best club season she's had.

She played with more confidence, moved more explosively, and became a more dominant player every time she stepped on the court.

The exciting part?

She's just getting started.
Now she's heading into the high school season with the confidence, preparation, and belief that this can be her best season yet.
Proud of the work you've put in, Morgan. Go make it happen. 🏐💪
