The competition is heating up, and we're excited to introduce two of the judges who will help crown this year's RibFest Champion on Saturday, June 13th!

🎙️ Returning Judge: "The Critic" from 105.5 The Bridge
Back for his second year on the Southern Roots RibFest judging panel, The Critic brings a discerning palate and a passion for great food. After helping judge last year's incredible lineup of ribs, he's returning to see which pitmaster can rise to the top in 2026.

👨‍🍳We're also proud to welcome Jason Wheless, Culinary Instructor at West Ashley High School, to this year's judging panel. With years of culinary knowledge and experience teaching the next generation of chefs, Jason brings a trained eye and refined taste for flavor, technique, and presentation. His expertise will be a valuable addition as our judges evaluate the Lowcountry's best ribs.
