💧 TENANT TIP TUESDAY: Know Before It Flows!

Quick question: Do you know where your home’s main water shutoff valve is?

If a pipe bursts, a supply line breaks, or water suddenly starts going somewhere water definitely should NOT be going, knowing how to quickly shut off the water can help prevent serious damage.

September is National Preparedness Month, and being prepared isn’t just about flashlights and batteries. It’s also knowing a few basics about your home BEFORE you need them.

🏠 Take 5 minutes this week to:
🔹 Locate your main water shutoff valve
🔹 Make sure you know how to operate it
🔹 Know how to reach your property management team for an emergency

Because the middle of a plumbing emergency is a terrible time to start Googling, “How do I turn off the water?!” 😬💦

In August, rental properties across the Greater Charleston MLS averaged 43 days on market. Properties leased by Sloane Realty averaged just 27 days — that’s approximately 37% faster than the overall market. 🚀
