I signed up for Roslindale Open Studios again—their 20th anniversary. Here’s some of the pieces I will have for sale in October. The originals are not matted or framed (mockups).

Day 100!

Day 99. Saw this online and it made me laugh. Taco Cat spelled backwards is Taco Cat. 🌮🐱

Day 98. Sanpaku Eyes is a Japanese term (meaning “three whites”) describing an eye appearance where the white part (sclera) is visible either above or below the iris. In Western medicine, this normal anatomical variation is simply called “scleral show”.

Yin Sanpaku: The white is visible at the bottom of the eye. This is the most common variation.

Yang Sanpaku: The white is visible at the top of the eye.

Folklore: The concept comes from Eastern physiognomy (face reading). It was popularized in the West in the 1960s by George Ohsawa, who believed the trait was an indicator of physical, spiritual, or mental imbalance.

The “Curse”: Traditional beliefs associated Yin Sanpaku with impending misfortune or personal turmoil, and Yang Sanpaku with aggression or violent tendencies.

Day 95. It’s bunny season!

I make art. Sometimes it's not anything great and I don't even like it, but during the 100 day project, I post what I make regardless of if I think it's worthy. It's real art, made with my hands, my mind, my ideas, my thoughts, etc. It's not done with artificial intelligence.

Day 94. Have you heard of section 24220? It’s a “federal law requiring all new passenger vehicles to be equipped with passive AI technology that detects driver impairment and prevents the car from operating. The mandate targets in-cabin surveillance, including eye-tracking cameras, to combat drunk driving.” Basically, you will have EYES on you dictating whether or not you’re fit to drive. Surveillance inside your car. This is absolutely ridiculous! Invasion of privacy. #24220
