Charlotte Rescue Mission

How great is our God! 🙌

17 men at Rebound publicly declared their faith through the gift of baptism. We are so grateful to Freedom House Church for pouring compassion and love into these men as they seek a new way of life.

Many of the men and women who come to Charlotte Rescue Mission have never encountered the love of Christ. Throughout our 120-day core program, residents are introduced to faith through Christ-centered care and given the opportunity to grow in their relationship with God.

For many, that relationship becomes an important part of the life they are building in recovery.

Baptisms are beautiful to witness. 💙

“Jesus answered and said to her, ‘Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again; but whoever drinks the water I give will never thirst; the water I shall give will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.’” John 4:13-14

September is National Recovery Month! 💜

Recovery is an important step in someone’s life as they seek a life transformation. When someone chooses recovery, they are saying yes to leaving the past behind but also saying yes to building a future in their recovery journey.

Recovery takes resilience, courage, and a willingness to ask for help. It can mean rekindling relationships, discovering purpose, and becoming who God intended them to be.

This National Recovery Month, we recognize and celebrate everyone on their recovery journey. 💜

Your past is a chapter, not your whole story. 📖

Sometimes, we forget that we have the power to turn the page and begin a new chapter.

Many of our residents come to us carrying the weight of trauma, pain, and difficult chapters they have endured. But they arrive ready for something different, ready to turn the page and begin again.

Because their story isn’t finished yet. ❤️

It’s time to heal.

It’s time to grow.

It’s time to begin again.
