Bark Less, W**e More — a Dolly-inspired w**e tasting benefiting RescuedMe.org. Sunday, October 18, 2 to 5 PM at W**e Vault University in University City.
$30 gets you tastings of about 20 w**es. Vanna Vanity of The Vanity House performs in full Dolly glam. Bring your dog — the patio will be open, and costumes are encouraged for people and pups. Cowboy hats, denim, rhinestones, whatever your dog will put up with.
Every dollar goes to RescuedMe.org, the Charlotte rescue I started in 2007.
Well-behaved dogs only, please. If yours would rather skip a crowd, leave them home and we'll send pictures.

URGENT FOSTER NEEDED
We were trying to pull this dog from a high-kill shelter because someone said they would foster if he passed his cat test.
He passed the cat test.
Then they backed out.
So now this dog is still sitting in the shelter, and if we cannot secure a foster ASAP, he will likely lose his life.
This is the hard part of rescue. These dogs depend on people following through.
He is cat tested, dog friendly, and needs a safe place to land immediately so we can save him.
RescuedMe covers vetting and support. You provide the home. The foster needs to be in Charlotte. Or if you know another rescue let me know and I will let you contact the shelter directly.
Please message me right away if you can foster, even short-term. Sharing helps too.
Foster pups, Winnie and Taylor are still looking for homes. They're probably about 7 months old. If you're interested, go to rescuedme.org and fill out an application!
This young lady is still looking for her forever home... She's hind zero interest which is weird because she is a great dog. If you know somebody looking for a young pup who is maybe 40 lb.. sweet and gentle and active. Taylor might fit the bill... Rescuedme.org
