Excited for all the new fabrics arriving! One style is 9 new colors in our most popular ombre chiffons with metallic threads. So beautiful! New colors in the majestic jacquards, more glitter sequined tulles, and more of the high end tutu tulles. Can’t wait to see what arrives tomorrow!

This time of year, it always makes me giggle when people ask me why we are not posting finished tutus in the process of being embellished daily….Here is why - this is the time of year everyone else needs tutu bases, from black rehearsal tutus getting ready for San Francisco Ballet School, countless white tutu bases for several companies and schools, and a few purple ones ( I predict that various purples are the Sugar Plum Fairy colors of the year this year!). We are busy making the foundations, the most important part on which others will embellish! Without the proper foundation, all the embellishing in the world simply does not matter! This is the most important part and we have the most painstakingly patient skilled artisans building these tutus just for you. Our shop is piled to the 20 foot ceilings with tutus for many of you!

Jan Doran, Costume Mistress for Ballet Wichita, is joining Claudia Folts for our new Starting the Season Prepared series—sharing practical tips, systems, and resources she uses to keep costume work organized and moving forward.
