Zach's Rescue

Did a little deeper!

It is a scene that plays out every day in shelters across the world: excited visitors naturally cluster around the playful kittens tumbling across the floor, while calm, mature cats sit quietly behind kennel doors, watching another family walk past. Kittens are undeniably adorable with their endless energy and wide-eyed curiosity, but it is the adult cats who truly understand what it means to wait. Many of them once had loving homes, soft cushions, and daily routines, making the noise and uncertainty of a shelter kennel feel all the more isolating.

Yet adopting an adult cat brings a quiet, profound grace into a home that energetic kittens simply cannot offer. With a grown cat, what you see is what you get—their personality is fully formed, their litter box habits are established, and they have already outgrown the phase of scratching curtains and midnight zoomies. Best of all, adult cats carry a deep, palpable gratitude for second chances, settling into your lap with a steady purr that says they finally know they are safe. Have you ever chosen to adopt an adult or senior cat over a kitten?

We know the truth! We know what shelters do! We know most that work there try so hard to prevent this killing! Without changing laws it wont happen!

HOLD OUR FEDERAL,STATE AND CITY GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBLE FOR ALLOWING TAXPAYERS TO FUND ANIMAL KILL SHELTERS TO ALLOW KILLING INNOCENT ANIMALS!!

iTS YOUR JOB !
ITS UP TO YOU ! S T O P N O W

Taxpayer-funded shelters and local governments must be held accountable and liable for preventable euthanasia by stop shelters from
Killing!
You build them!!
You control
Them!
You pay them! STOP

Most cities don't really like this slaughter but need to do so much more than complain! They cannot! Who can?

When municipalities choose convenience over spay/neuter mandates and foster programs, animals pay the price with their innocent lives!Real change requires:

1️⃣ MUNICIPAL LIABILITY — Hold local governments accountable for animal welfare outcomes.

2️⃣ TRANSPARENCY — Require public reporting on shelter intake and budgets.

3️⃣ FUNDED PREVENTION — Direct city resources toward mandatory spay/neuter programs. THAT would eliminate killing!

Should cities and municipal shelters be held liable for innocent lives lost?

YES. Our government officials should have to personsonally oversee this process of picking and choosing dogs & cats to die
